OOTD series: Weekend looks

The weekend is just around the corner and I thought I will put together some looks that you can try out during the weekends. This is part of my OOTD series (check out my there OOTD posts here).

The coming weekend is super busy for me with chores, grocery shopping, guests home for dinner and I am leaving on my next trip 🙂 Keep up-to-date with my Insta feed/story to know where I am going!

Weekend are casual, non-formal, easy breezy and all about comfort. I keep it simple, colourful, real and comfortable always.

Below are the 6 looks I wore over the weekends in the past…

I love skirts, so this look is a simple black skirt (from a local store) with small ruffles paired with a bell-sleeve flowery peach and red blouse from H&M Footwear – sexy strapped heels from Crocs.

This is one of my fav looks… This odd length flare pants/palazzos and blouse is from TEMT Singapore. I paired it with brown gladiator sandals from Amazon.

This was such a last minute look… I remember that I was totally not in the mood to dress up that weekend (hence the specs and no contact lens!), so I just put this look together in 2 minutes. The simple army green spaghetti strap dress is from Cotton On; the colourful and beautifully patterned cardigan/throw/cotton full jacket was bought at an Indian shopping fair in Singapore. It is actually part of an Indian dress 🙂 Paired with simple Crocs footwear.

This was a look I wore to my cousins place – went for an Indian look. So this Kurti was actually bought along with the jacket in the previous look. So they were a set but I never wore them together until now 🙂

So this navy blue plain sleeveless Kurti is paired with a flowery palazzo from Westside and sexy blue sunglasses. The necklace I wore was made by my friend from VA Creations.

I hardly wear pants or jeans, but this look was put together on my winter trip in Europe last year. I had to wear pants to beat the cold!

The mustard shirt is from Uniqlo Singapore paired with black jeans from Marks & Spencer. I also threw on a black cardigan from Old Navy… and I was definitely wearing heat tech thermal wear from Uniqlo inside the shirt – it is all about layering in the winters. Accessories-wise, I wore a beautiful layered pearl necklace gifted by my cousin and big earrings as well.

This one is an Indo-Western fusion look that I put on for a Saturday when I had to watch a play, lunch with friends and shopping. Extremely comfortable and all cotton, so very much right for Singapore’s weather. Cream palazzos and jacket from Max, a sleeveless blouse in gold and blue/purple from Lifestyle Stores. Paired with a long gold chain from Westside and a black-and-gold clutch from a local store.

So there you go, 6 weekend looks… what do you think? Let me know in the comments below.

I also wear shorts on most weekends – you can see more on shorts here.

Do share pics with me if you try any of these looks or those that you have put together for inspiration!
