Not all things beauty

Bloggers like me put in a lot of time deciding what to wear, modelling for pictures, being out of our comfort zone, applying make up to the point, dressing up for perfect pictures, changing our clothes in public restrooms during a photoshoot, writing and coming up with witty phrases, remember and pen down the brands we wore etc. etc. etc.

On the other hand, photographers who are extremely talented have the tough job of taking pictures of awkward models like me and then editing it to a certain extent to make us look good 🙂

Both bloggers and photographers put in a lot of time and effort for you all to enjoy reading/seeing. Having said this, not all things are beautiful… not always. We click 100s of pictures to get a few shots right – it is human tendency to close our eyes, look away, toss our hair, be awkward with our hands and limbs… LOL 🙂

So, in this post, instead of posting beautiful pictures, I am posting the ones that did not make the cut (not the fault of the photographer or the model – after all, we are all humans!)… but all pictures have a great effort and time put behind them!

Bloggers are called influencers as we do tend to influence some of the people out there through out pictures and posts. There are horrifying stories out there of how some of the people ended up wanting to live and take beautiful pictures like Instagram bloggers and influencers that they ended up spending a fortune and becoming bankrupt to get that one perfect pic… this is sad. I want to show that we are also imperfect, we put in effort and time to show you the best of our experiences etc. Bloggers out there, a sincere request to you – blog the truth, the true review of products, just do not post pics and good reviews since you are paid for it. Be honest – people out there value your reviews and opinions 🙂
