I used to think that dresses are only for those who have a “perfect” figure. Well, what describes a “perfect” figure, anyways?
Having said that, I bought my first formal dress only a couple of years ago – when I realized that I wasn’t getting any less curvy 🙂 And also when I stumbled upon Dorothy Perkins in one of the malls in Singapore. Until then, I never found my size (UK size 16/18) in any of the other shops/brands I visited.
This teal+aegean blue dress is simple, yet so elegant… and extremely comfortable. I am all about comfort – ALWAYS, especially living in a hot and humid country like Singapore.
The dress is from Plussize.sg – V-Curve (SG$ 49.9)
The sexy and super comfortable sandals are from Pedalworks (SG$ 72) (Thomson Plaza, Singapore); the only footwear brand that can fit my BIG feet (I’m a size 11/12!!) – that is extremely big for Asian standards.
Handbag – Bagelicious Flea Market (SG$ 25).
Accessories – Lovisa (SG$ 3).
Photography – Sonal Sharma from Sonal’s photography.
Makeup – Chinmayi.
Model – Sandhya Sriram.
Why shy away from short dresses to work? Vipra Guneta has clearly shown that short is sweet.
This gorgeous dress is from ISA (~SG$ 60) at Ang Mo Kio Hub, Singapore.
Flat shoes – Charles & Keith (~SG$ 40).
Sling bag – Nine West (US$ 19).
Sunglasses – Rubi (SG$ 3.50).
Photography – Sonal Sharma from Sonal’s photography.
Makeup – Chinmayi.
Model – Vipra Guneta.

So, go ahead and rock those dresses at work!
Awesome! You rock 😎😇
